Zhavia Ward Signs Million Dollar Deal with Columbia Records

if you watched the first season of the Fox competition series, The Four, earlier this year, than you are definitely familiar with Zhavia Ward. The series hosted by Fergie, with judges Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs, DJ Khaled and Meghan Trainor, was a break-put hit for the network and there are already plans for the second season to premiere this June.

Zhavia, a unique talent, also became a breakout star on the show. At only 17 years old, her voice was unlike anything fans have heard. She quickly became a social media sensation and many thought she was a guaranteed winner for the show. Until she didn’t win!

Zhavia was one of the final four artists, but a couple shaky performances in the end cost her the show title.

It looks like it had all worked out in the end for Zhavia though as she recently signed a lucrative deal with Columbia Records.

According to TMZ, Zhavia gets a $700k advance on her first album … along with 18% royalties. If the record’s a hit as expected, she’ll get another $750k for album #2 … and haul in up to $1.875 mil with royalties.

Ward’s 3rd and 4th albums guarantee her another $100k raise each … with the potential to make well over $2 million per album with royalties.

Earlier this week Zhavia was featured on a new track from the Deadpool 2 movie soundtrack. The song, “Welcome To The Party” also features Diplo, French Montana and Lil Pump.

After the Zhavia record deal, Columbia Records released her debut single, “Candlelight”.

Back in June 2019, Zhavia unveiled her debut EP, 17.
