Following the global circulation of a clip showing the rapper getting a haircut, fans have expressed concern for Young M.A’s health.
The “OOOUUU” rhymer later addressed the issue and defended the initial poster of the video, which happened to be her barber. In the short visual, Young M.A. can be seen flaunting her new hairstyle while seated in the cutter’s chair.
However, viewers grew alarmed when they noticed that Young M.A’s eyes seemed to have a yellowish tint to them. Numerous individuals voiced worry for Young M.A’s well-being, but there was also disagreement between those who were making jokes and those who were standing up for the Herstory phenomenon.
Many others speculated that the 30-year-old rap star might have jaundice, a medical disease marked by the yellowing of the eye whites. Acute liver failure is one of its causes. Young M.A said on Instagram in June 2021 that she had entered a rehab facility in order to “quit this addiction.”

Subsequent to the online hoopla, Young M.A. spoke with TMZ and assured everyone that everything is copacetic.
“As many of my supporters know I’ve been dealing with various personal health issues the last few years. I recently was hospitalized and was successfully treated for several conditions. I’m doing better now, will take some time but I’m on the road to recovery and look forward to the future!!!”
She added to that, mentioning that new music and a documentary are in the works: “Rest assured I’m in good spirits and everything will be explained in the MUSIC … plus a documentary. Love y’all MAB! Don’t worry I’m good!”
