The debut from Theophilus London, Timez Are Weird These Days, is a brewed blend of electronic beats and ingenious rap that showcases London’s freestyle spitting. An original ten track specialty, Timez Are Weird These Days, begins with “Last Name London,” which maneuvers itself as a hard hitting matrix of 80’s new wave sound paired with eccentric audio mixing. “Wine and Chocolates,” speaks to living the good life with a erratic beat moving around London’s verses, while the oddity of “All Around The World,” becomes a track that will be listened to over and over by fans of fricasseed and pulsated music.
On  “Why Even Try,” Theophilus London shows off his comical way of telling stories. The noise from the production complements the chorus “if you think you’re special/you’re probably not/why even try.” On “Girls Girls $,” London tells a story of a partying lifestyle that has moments of euphoric styled chill music meshed with dance floor astral rendering.
“I Stand Alone,” the culmination on Timez Are Weird These Days, offers a vibe that is bonkers in its presentation. The mind trip it gives as Theophilus tells his story is different in its unconventional delivery. Fans of Theophilus London will find this feat agreeable, profiling his musical tastes with gusto. It complements his mixtapes and the previously released, the Lovers Holiday EP. Theophilus London is on his way to even more prevalence than previous accomplishments with Timez Are Weired These Days.
Final Grade: PARL
Picks: “Why Even Try,” “Stop It,” “I Stand Alone”
