The Game Set To Launch Streets of Compton Documentary with A&E Network

Since his debut onto the music scene, Jayceon Taylor has been unstoppable. With chart-topping singles, millions sold in albums, and eleven years in the game, he has certainly lived up to his name. This time, he’s teaming up with A&E Network for the Streets of Compton documentary, a three-part docuseries.

This mini-series comes as part of The Game’s companion project/album, which also bears the same name.
The sole purpose of the Streets of Compton documentary is to shed another light onto the infamous city of Compton. Not only is it the old stomping grounds of some of music’s most respected and beloved acts (NWA, Kendrick Lamar, The Game), but it also has a history as rich as the talent it’s produced.
Quite often, the story goes untold about how the once predominately white suburb transformed into today’s gangland. The Streets of Compton documentary will not only give you a history lesson but it will also go in depth about the music, culture and the style that was birthed right in the heart of the city.

Exclusive content featuring a few well-known natives such as Niecy Nash, Paul Rodriguez, Lil Eazy – E, DJ Yella, Arabian Prince, and a host of others all appear within this three-part docu-series.

An 11-track disc, which also carries the Streets of Compton title, is just another chapter in The Game’s book. Song after song, you can hear him professing his love, respect, and admiration for his hometown. Get ready to bob your head and open your ears as The Game lays it on thick with raw lyrics and dope beats produced by League of Stars, Bongo, and a list of others.

The album follows his 2015 2-part release, The Documentary 2 and The Documentary 2.5.
