Lil Uzi Vert’s artist LottaCash Desto was shot and killed while driving Saturday morning, September 24, 2022, near 5500 Richmond Avenue in Houston Texas.

On Saturday, at approximately 2:40 in the morning, officers of the Houston Police Department stated that they responded to a shooting near 5500 Richmond Avenue.

When the police arrived, they discovered a silver Porsche SUV that was facing westbound on Richmond just before Chimney Rock. According to the police, both of the men who were inside the SUV were shot many times.

According to the investigations, the driver [LottaCash Desto] was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, and the passenger was transported to the hospital, where he is currently being treated and is expected to make a full recovery.

A man was also discovered nearby suffering from gunshot wounds, and he was transported to the hospital in a private vehicle. The position of the bullet fragments inside the SUV led the Houston Police Department to speculate that there may have been more than one gunman.

Lotta Cash Desto was a protege of Lil Uzi Vert, who had a huge underground following in the Houston rap scene. Her new single “Free Slatt” was released last week. Last month, she also released “Lunchroom,” featuring Lil Uzi Vert. Check out both videos below.

A lot of LottaCash Desto’s fans pointed out on Twitter that the Memphis Tennessee born rapper had just mentioned how much she liked living in Houston verses Atlanta.
