Lil Fizz Claims To Be Brain Behind Omarion's "Post To Be" Single

Lil Fizz sat down with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN on the latest episode of Drink Champs where he claimed to be the brain behind Omarion’s single, “Post To Be.” The interview had other members of the R&B group B2K which Omarion used to be a part of – Lil Fizz, J-Boog, and Raz-B. The other topics discussed in the interview include the reason they didn’t perform with Omarion during his Verzuz with Mario.

On being the brain behind Omarion’s single “Post To Be,” Lil Fizz claimed to be the one who told Omarion to create the song, taking ideas from R. Kelly’s song structuring on B2K’s breakout single “Bump, Bump, Bump.”

“I said, ‘Go get a DJ Mustard beat. Throw a rap song on that bch, go crazy.’ He like, ‘Yeah, you think so?’ I’m like, ‘Yeah.’ So maybe three weeks later, he comes back with a Mustard beat and a verse and a hook. He drops the st, it’s out of here, and I don’t hear from him no more. Literally went MIA on me,” Lil Fizz explained.

Regarding Omarion and Mario’s Verzuz in June that Lil Fizz and the rest of the B2K group did not grace to many people’s surprise, the group cited Omarion’s management to be the primary cause. According to Lil Fizz: “Max Gousse calls us, he’s like, ‘Yo, what y’all feel about doing Verzuz?’ We’re like, ‘Isn’t Omari doing Verzuz?’ He’s like, ‘Yeah, what y’all feel about doing a few songs with him? B2K.’ We was like, ‘It’s a conversation. We can talk about it if the business is right. Why not?’”

Lil Fizz went further to explain what happened after hopping on a call with Omarion’s manager, Michelle Le Fleur, the next day. According to him, she wasn’t on good terms with the group performing despite previous conversations.
