Charlamagne Tha God Set To Release Black Privilege Book Later This Month

From interning in radio to working alongside Wendy Williams to now co-hosting Power 105’s The Breakfast Club, and sharing his experienced opinions on MTV’s Guy Code, Charlamagne Tha God has proven his methods on striving for your dreams will bring success. And now he has his eyes set on our bookshelves with his new book of motivation and inspiration titled “Black Privilege: Opportunity Comes To Those Who Create It.”

In the new book, set to be released on April 18th, Charlamagne touches on the importance of being real to who you are and what you’re involved in to gain success. Sharing his story, with no holds barred honesty and insight, Charlamagne provides proven opinions on what it takes to be your living dream.

The Moncks Corner, South Carolina bred native, who has an incredible roster of a-list celebrity interviews under his belt, a string of television and radio work, and even special appearances on film, Lenard McKelvey aka Charlamagne has the comic wit, charm and genuine personality to help you obtain your black privilege.

Some of the principles that Charlamagne learned and now wants to share include:

• If You Don’t Have Anything Nice To Say, Say It Anyway: Honesty is the best policy, straight talk, no chaser. It sounds cliché but the truth hurts whether you’re telling it to yourself or someone else.
• Put the Weed in the Bag: Success is a process; there are no cheat codes, no life hacks, just basic steps that have to happen before you prosper.
• Live Your Truth: So no one can use your truth against you. No judgement or opinion formed against you shall prosper when you Live Your Truth.
• Embrace Your Privilege: God created us exactly how he wanted us to be and who he wanted us to be. God blessed us with the privilege of being here, regardless of what this society tries to tell us about ourselves. God designed us to win, and once we embrace our privilege, we will.

Charlamagne Tha God Black Privilege book is being released by Touchstone Hardcover/Simon & Schuster on April 18th.
