Bronny James… 2024 NBA Draft Pick?! When you’re the offspring of the top scorer in NBA history, basketball skills are organically in your DNA—no way around it. Bronny James, the son of Lebron James, definitely has the skills and mindset to go pro in ball.
And, according to ESPN’s Jonathan Givony ‘little Lebron’ will get selected No. 10 by the Orlando Magic in the 2024 NBA Draft.
“Some might be surprised to see James, ranked anywhere from 28 to 43 by the major recruiting services, as a potential top-10 pick. James has earned his spot in lottery conversations with the significant jump he has made at Sierra Canyon in Chatsworth, California, this season, developing into arguably the best perimeter defender in his high school class while making strides in his perimeter shooting and playmaking ability,” wrote Givony.
James has been targeted by USC; however, ESPN’s mock 2024 NBA Draft may have given the star athlete a little more juice as far as recruitment goes.

Several days ago, Eric Bossi (national basketball director at 247Sports) wrote about James and his college recruitment prospects.
“The schools that have come up the most as potential suitors for James include Memphis, Oregon, Ohio State, and USC. The answers to whether Bronny is going to play college ball and where he’ll play aren’t likely to be given in the immediate future,” said Bossi.
The main reason James is foreseen to attend USC is because of Isaiah Collier. Collier, the #1 recruit in the country, recently committed to USC, and with him and James on the floor grasping a national title seems very likely.
In July 2022, James was offered a scholarship by USC. USC’s campus has yet to be graced with his presence. However, on January 7, James did play against Collier’s team at USC’s Galen Center. The 18-year-old’s team won and he also scored 22 points (a game-high).
